two cent cigarette

I've been wanting to do photography for a long time and i just bought my first camera the other day. After tinkering with it long enough...aka...got the camera out of the box, i decided to make a self-portrait. I know i still have ALOT to learn about photography but this is my first real picture. What I eventually want to do is take some shots of people in poses and then paint from them to create some more fantasy art.
